"Points to Ponder"
Factoids that might be helpful in planning your business goals for the future.
Consider:

Thousands of folks are retiring each week, and one-in-four of the most financially secure will relocate.

The Boise/Nampa Area ranks third in the nation for boomers choosing to retire and number "One" in the West.

Best Towns Magazine

How much thought do any of us give to the fact that whenever "Greater" Boise receives national accolades or scores better than hundreds of cities nationally, Kuna, and all the towns that make up the Treasure Valley are also included in that recognition?  There are ways for our businesses to aggressively use this information and benefit from it economically in the future.

Welcome to the City of Kuna Web Site where you will hopefully find information about your community.   It is the city's hope that this web site will foster new connections while providing citizens with needed information in a timely and user-friendly manner.  Thanks for visiting the City of Kuna Web Site.

Kuna is the Gateway City to the Birds of Prey National Habitat Area and is the forefront of the Western  Heritage Byways Project.  The growth Kuna has experienced the last several years extends its boundaries to just 4 miles from the city limits of Boise.  Kuna is a community of approximately 16,100 residents,  rooted as an agricultural area that is a rapidly growing progressive community, supported by an active Chamber of Commerce, a sense of community pride, and a high level of citizen involvement.   Kuna prides itself in good schools, responsive businesses, and fine churches. The city is proud of it's heritage, and past accomplishments.  Kuna welcomes you and invites you to join the city in helping make Kuna an even better place to live and work.
Mission Statement
The city's mission is to improve the quality of life in Kuna, promote economic well-being,  provide excellence in service to our residents, encourage a culturally diverse community, and to preserve our past as we focus on our future.

Attention City of Kuna Utility Customers!
Reminder that the City of Kuna has discontinued the practice of delivering "door hanger" reminders for past due utility accounts. Utility bills are mailed out approximately the 1st of each month and are due the 15th. For delinquent accounts subject to having water service disconnected, there will be a reminder notification on the monthly billing statement itself with detailed information including payment deadline and shut off date. No other notice will be given.
Recent events in and around the state of Idaho bring to mind the importance of emergency awareness and preparedness.  Past Preparedness Pointers have covered information on heat, power outages, lightning storms, and wildfires. Below are links discussing theses issues provided by Ada City-County Emergency Management.
